Reputations

---I'm having a hard time finding research about reputations, so it's making me rethink my choice...unfortunately. :(

---After researching I am leaning more towards health maintenance, because I feel like i can get more information about that topic. Like I mentioned before, our health is one of the most important things we have. I will mainly be focusing on things to do that will promote good health such as eating the right foods, exercise, etc. I'm debating on whether to include the harms of fad diets as well, but I'm not so sure.

3 Topics

The three topics that I would like to write about this semester would probably be: health, reputaions, and after having to read over the webtexts, more about Generation Y.

Maintaing good health is always hard for everyone. Some don't know where to start, let alone how to start. I've always had a problem with this particualr topic, but it always helps to learn more. I'm always told that eating healthy and excerise is very important, but it always seemed not as important at the moment. As we get older we're going to be face with more and more health problems, so I think by learning more about health and the importance to take care of it-it will help motivate me to care more about maintaing my health.

Our reputation is what makes us who we are. It's something that we care about, because it helps other people get an understanding of ourselves or our personality. We're caring way too much about the clothes we wear, the way we do our hair, the jobs we get, and the people we hang out with. It's hard to maintain a good reputaion if you're in with the "wrong crowd," because people lable you without actually taking the extra step in getting to know you. If we cared less about what other people think then we wouldn't be trying so hard to fit in, and putting on acts rather than being our true selves. It's not easy living in a world where everyone judges someone right off the bat from what they hear, or see at first glance. I've been in situations all the time where i hear something about a certain person which changes my perception about them, and after getting to know them have it change once again.

As for the Generation Y topic I really don't know much about it, but i know that by learning more about it i can become more interested in it. So far from reading the webtexts, I got pretty offended at some of the comments, so hopefully learning more about that will bring me to an understanding as to why I guess they would think that? lol

If i had to choose, i would probably go with the reputation topic, because i think i know more about it, and it seems the most interesting.
